The Press in Chile has been speculating that Electrolux is poised to snap up Compañia Tecno, a local appliance manufacturer in Eelctrolux’s continuing expansion into South American territories.
After the speculation in local media in Chile, Electrolux has confirmed via a press release that it is in discussions with Sigdo Koppers regarding a potential acquisition of the appliance manufacturer Compañia Tecno Industrial S.A.
Compañia Tecno listed on the Santiago Stock Exchange in Chile, and its subsidiaries. Electrolux say that further information will follow if a final agreement is reached.
