Electrolux has launched a review into the viability of its finished goods warehouse and distribution centre in Spennymoor, County Durham, which employs 23 people.
An Electrolux spokesman said the review was “necessary following the global economic downturn resulting in lower sales volumes, which has reduced UK warehousing requirements since the start of 2008″.
This time last year the company said it was closing its fridge manufacturing facility in the town with the loss of 500 jobs.
