Anyone know anywhere that’s got either pattern or genuine of these ?
Three versions available, genuine Hotpoint/Creda, genuine Belling (prefix with BA) or pattern.
I have checked all these:
Merloni – nil
Connect – nil of all three
Washvac – nil of all three
Kitchen Economy – nil of all three
Qualtex – nil of all threeDave

Maddocks list their equivalent as Part No: 14-CR-11 but their website never shows stock level 🙁 . Worth giving them a bell though (01443 842371) if your desperate? 💡

I emailed them earlier Martin and await a reply.
Since then I’ve checked SEME, they have nowt either.
Waiting on two more replies, can someone with an account email Masterpart or check stock please, I can see this being a problem as Merloni don’t expect any before the 15th December, although Qualtex tell me they expect delivery next week sometime.
From all of the wholesalers I have spoken to today, it seems like everyone and his dog are after these.

ive got one that looks very simular to the one you need dave,the diamentions are 45mm across the centre of the terminals,180mm diamiter.3 turn,backer 2500w,if this willdoletme knowandi’ll send it down to you.

All kidding aside, what’s the likes of D&G gonna tell customers when they inform customers that these will not be available until 24th Dec or thereafter?
I really feel sorry for them as there’s nothing they can do and they’re gonna take a pounding from customers. It also exceeds the Currys 6 week rule too, bet it’s gonna go down a storm in there as well!
Bad enough when they have to wait a couple of days now let alone 6 weeks plus.

We had these on backorder from connect for ages and they came in this week, no spares though, all allocated to desperate women.

Thanks Bryan. I’m not actually screaming for one yet but we are selling more and more of this element often using more than ten a week, either by our own engineers or selling them locally and on the shop here.
What concerns me is this element is fitted to a huge range of Creda, Hotpoint and Belling models and there will inevitably be unfortunate people left without ovens over the Xmas period if this lack of replacements isn’t corrected soon.
I’m laying my hopes on Qualtex at the moment.
