Okay, i think it is time to maybe lock this thread on the provisio that the WTA Council release a statement in good time to clarify the points and concerns made in this thread,this i feel is important for all current and future WTA members.
For it to continue would only bring the WTA in to question and despite what any one thinks i do not wish for that to happen.Re: A Naughty WTA Change Constitution!
So far as I was aware though Adrian, the constitution, its content and maintenance was one of your your delegated responsibilities.
Did you make anyone aware that you had, by altering it, broken the rules?
In case you decide to come back with some (other) smear or smart answer, I will tell you that no, you didn’t. So it was your responsibility and you shirked it basically and fluffed the process yet somehow that’s now other people’s fault?
Also, yes you are moderated and will remain so until further notice due to your offensive comments and outrageous, untrue, incorrect and, potentially libellous remarks that you have made in the past few hours.
Of course you take a different approach when it comes to dealing with comments you don’t like, you just deleted them.
After which I asked the moderator team about what action to take over your behaviour on Sunday and, unanimously, they asked that you be removed from the moderation team which was then done. This in light of your actions. But I suppose that’ll be all of them in the wrong as well as the WTA people in your world.
It would appear that you have form on breaking the rules but, there again, you’re the first one to admit that you won’t be told what you can and can’t do. You made that abundantly clear on several levels.
Hence, you are moderated as it’s the only way to control your outbursts.
The only thing stopping me from removing your access completely is that you would then accuse myself somewhere else of whatever, again. I’d be the big bad censor again no doubt.
Despite protestations to have you removed by several people.
But I refuse to feed your infantile notions on that front and let you accuse me of something that is not true, again.

Ta, there are ongoing amendments but we think that’s all the references.
If you do spot any mistakes, can you give a link to the page please as it makes sorting them much easier.

Seems someone is desperate to make money quickly without much thought.
Although having just viewed FME, what a joke, the amount of trades available is pathetic and its obviously aimed at promoting the owners business.
As a business idea would get around a D-.
Besides the lack of business on there it would get buried by the more professional sites very quickly.
Why would you promote an index of appliance engineers on the home page of your own repair comapany.
Aide you planning on re branding again soon. :rotfl:
Sorry mate but this stinks of a failing desperate businessman, maybe you should concentrate on the running and performance of that business deal with client complaints/unrepaired appliances rather than wasting your time arguing the toss on here.

I didn’t follow it at the time as there is a perfectly good engineer search here on UKW which costs me nowt.

Let me say from the begining that I am not on the WTA council in any way shape of form but this is matter which does need to be cleared up for the benefit of all WTA members so in an attempt to gain some answers I have quite literally just spoken to the WTA Chairman.
Like most of us he runs his own business and unfortunately he has a problem forcing him to be out on the road for this week so he is unable to answer any of the questions I have put to him, which I understand if he were in a customers house or driving to his next call.
He has however promised an open statement on the matter most likely on Sunday or Monday of next week.
I think it fair that he have the opportunity to respond fully so I would request this topic be left alone to allow him that opportunity and we then take it from there if necessary.

I manage a small team of Engineers, I do not repair appliances (Bar Gas repairs). If you have any information that I don’t regarding complaints etc, please email them to me as I’m un aware. I can then take them up with the engineers.
Apart from that, can we get back on to topic please 🙂

Okay this is sort of linked, Ken you say Ade broke rules in deleting threads/posts, well who deleted Martins post “Sorry State of Affairs” ? I posted in that thread and i wasnt asked about it being deleted and my post was not against posting rules. Can that be explained as i dont want any one to think that there is one rule for some and another rule for others depending on what is said and who its about, it could back Ades “Kens Army” theory.

I got a PM from a moderator advising me that my thread had been deleted. I have accepted that decision mainly on the grounds that there’s little I can do in preventing this type of what is in effect censorship anyway. Others have PM’d me asking why the thread was deleted but sadly I cannot answer their questions. 😥
The subject matter was meant merely to express my dissappointment at reading about recent developments of the WTA. But the ‘powers that be’ clearly thought otherwise, which is a great shame but hey! :rolls:

Would it not be better to keep it all in one place so that everyone can see what a sad and bitter person the protractor in all of this appears to be.
I do not understand you drdill as in another thread I am watching with interest you say you want all the indies to work as one and yet you seem intent on assisting what looks to be a loose cannon cause mayhem among the same. Or are you acting on behalf of someone else I wonder in this thread and perhaps in your own interest on another.
I will watch with interest.
