More like £2000 a week with taking money upfront for machines that never arrive. 😯

I just wish they hadn’t referred to him as an ‘Engineer’, he’s obviously just an extremely dishonest scruffy little sh*t whos stumbled upon a way to take hundreds of £ off people in their own homes :rolls:
Oh well, I guess our trade was due a visit from Matt and the gang… tis been a while.
But that little toss*r cant really be considered part of any trade IMHO 🙁October 14, 2010 at 11:57 pm #332914gandh1

worst thing about this is its only gonna ecourage people to try it themselves, or book the manufacturer. there wasd a piece on 97.0 fm the other day by a guy who runs moneysavingexpert.com or something quoting sillly prices from manufacturers only. not once did he imply the customer could get a better deal from independant engineers, who have on occasion saved customers from great expense… and i suspect why??? because he was put up to it by espares… as he name checked them 3 times for price quotes >:(
in completely the opposite to fame, no news is better than bad news…

Bad part is now we will all either have a drop in calls, or will have the customer perched on our shoulders whilst we work.
Good part was when they confronted him, Rabbit in the headlights anyone? 😆

I know what youre saying eastlmark, we shouldn’t sell ourselves so short and all that, but to be honest I was glad that was mentioned on the programme, at least they suggested there is the possibility of getting an honest repair done and we’re not all like Mr Bramell.
Unfortunately we’re now going to have 3 weeks of punters staring over our shoulder and expecting a bill of no more than £30. :rolls:
