Blomberg 1515 AAA Motor Brushes

Hi.

Can Anyone tell me where I can get hold of some Brushes for a Blomberg 1515 AAA.It has a Selni Motor and they are encased in black plastic and look to be side reversable.
Any help would be gratefully accepted.

There’s two versions of that machine, date code split on it so you’ll need the production code as well.

However, looking at them it looks as if neither are available, or not shown as a spare part on Agora for it at least. Typical that is these days, trying to lump you up with a new motor for just a set of carbons. 🙁

To be fair the motor look reasonably priced, as motors go these days, but I don’t have a price matrix here for Brandt so I can’t confirm the price right now.

The only other thing to do is mail us in a pic of the carbons and I’ll post it up, or use a link to it from another site to here and no doubt someone will recognise them. 😉

I will have to dig them out of the machine again,as I managed to get the motor running again by pulling the brushes out a tad,and cleaning the commutator up,but it is only a shot term fix until Wed when I am off,so when I get them out I will take a photo and post it…

Brandt make the machine and it’s branded Blomberg for sale in Comet IIRC, who own the Blomberg brand if memory serves me correctly.

They’re the same as Merloni Selni brushes part number C00041078.

The only problem is they’re about £16.50 each brush 😯

If you can bear with me a bit I’ll try and source a cheaper version for you.

I found a few places that sell a pattern version about £25 the pair with postage/packing etc.

If you need a pair let me know, I’ve ordered some for my own stock.

I Have done a bit of ringing round locally (Sheffield) and have not actually found anyone that stock them,but a few said if I brought the complete brush in they may be able to fit some new carbons to the original housing,so I will try that approach on Wednsday and if that fails I will take you up on your kind offer.

To say you are efficient is an understatment!!! considering I only posted those jpg`s last night.Anyway I have managed to get some Zanussi carbons fitted that appear to be working ok so I am sorted from that POV.Can I just take this opputunity to say thanks for all the help the posters on here have offered..

As an aside I had another line of attack and recieved this E-Mail back from another company that may be of use to someone in a similar position:–

We can supply those and we have them in stock.
They are #25.00 plus VAT and #2.50 postage which comes to #31.88.

1301ABB uses a Selni drive motor, so should fit.
Mr Conway should be able to provide you with an up to date price in the morning.
