ParticipantHi everyone.
My bosch classixx stopped turning the drum yesterday, I figured it was probably motor brushes. I bought new ones and replaced this morning. However now it won’t turn on, no lights nothing. I have checked the fuse and am at a bit if a loss. Any help would be greatful.
Kind regards
Jim

Only way to be certain in to make sure you have power actually to the mains terminal. This can only be done with a meter.

Balls, can’t understand why it would go after replacing brushes, just coincidence? Or could I have done something?

If the model number begins WFO????? Then the PCB could well be a goner.

You work it out, a new control PCB fitted would set you back up to £170. A replacement machine of same quality £375.

No brainer then really. I suppose it’s just trying to work out if it could be anything goes simpler.

To answer that would be to unplug the machine then take out the PCB (photograph the connections before removing) and check the board for potential component damage or bad connections. 💡

Ok circuit board removed…. This looks suspect, or is it just dirt? https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7584gosbf5xjw66/TvUtUDfsrH

That’s just dirt/carbon dust and should clean off easily.
