    Ok could the carbon be causing a short? What else could I look for?

    BOSCH CLASSIXX 1200 inactive!

    Carbon dust can cause a short of course. Cleaning it would be the certain way of knowing. Board dead might indicate the transformer has failed so that needs testing as does the relays. What’s is the state of the track side of the board?

    The track side looks OK apart from carbon I’m the same area. I have no idea how to test transformer or relays I’m afraid so I guess I’m getting to end of the road.
