Hi I fitted a control board to this dishwasher a few months ago and all has been fine but the customer has called saying it is not drying the dishes properly , the dishes are warm so the heater is ok , it started intermittently but now does it every time , don’t have the model to hand but will be calling round on Monday so will update the post with model details ,

    Cheers alan

Have you configured it as per the instruction leaflet?

    Re: Bosch dishwasher not drying

I’d first be asking the customer if they’re using the quick wash cycle…..which doesn’t have a drying cycle .

    Re: Bosch dishwasher not drying

Hi Paul , the customer has tried 3 different programmes all with the Same result but I have spoken to her today and she said that it seems to be sticking on 1 min remaining ?

    Re: Bosch dishwasher not drying

In that case , look at the top of the forum stickies and you’ll see a post about Bosch/Neff/Siemens dishwashers with 1min left ‘Syndrome’. Everything you need to know should be in there. Its normally a blocked pressure chamber/fill hose problem.

    Model details are sgs55c02gb/01 ,

Tested today and water comes in ok and drains ok heater is working ,, customer said she opened the door without turning off when I was stuck on 1 min and when she shut the door timer went to 23 mins , unfortunately she canceled the wash and didn’t not let it run but all was wet inside

    Re: Bosch dishwasher not drying

For what it’s worth, I reckon dodgy heater relay (dry joint) or connector block loose on PCB (even though the PCB isn’t that old).

    Re: Bosch dishwasher not drying

Hi been out the this dishwasher again today and the board was programmed to c6 and not c3 as I had set it when I fitted it ? Anyway reprogrammed it so fingers crossed it should work but I spoke to the customer today and she said she used the quick wash 28 mins and the machine finished and dried perfectly not sticking on 1 min at all ?

I read somewhere that there was 2 dry settings on the board that could be changed but cannot find the site I read it on , does anyone know the procedure to change this setting ? Cheers alan

    Re: Bosch dishwasher not drying

As nomadpaul said earlier there is NO drying function on the Quick Wash cycle (or Pre-rinse for that matter) and that model does not have the option of ‘Intensive Drying’.

    Re: Bosch dishwasher not drying

Hi update on this bloody dishwasher 🙁

Customer has tried it on all progs and if she opens and closes the door before the timer says it’s finished the display changes from say 8 or 2 mins whatever it was on to 27 mins and dries perfectly every time ?? It always goes back to 27 mins and finished perfectly ??

    Any ideas ?

    Thanks alan
