Oh dear!
Worked perferctly for a week (on every day).
Was set on a 65 degree wash.
Now all the red lights are on and the machine is not empty at end of cycle.
Tried a reset but this will not end the program to clear it so I can drain the machine and start a new wash.
HELP! 🙁August 18, 2007 at 10:30 am #222055clivejameson

HELP! 🙁That sounds more like a drainage problem now 😕
Bale out the water and locate the pump cover at about the 8 o’clock position in the sump, one screw holds it on, remove cover and examine the impellor checking for rotation by hand (details in your instruction book). Do be careful…if there’s a chip of clear glass in there it will be almost invisible in the water.
If still no go then time for an engineer methinks…try the link below to find a local engineer.

Thanks Clive,
Already done that. Impeller seems to rotate Ok.
Am I right in saying that there is a flap which opens to allow water
to train down the tube (which is opened by the force of the water caused by the impeller), or is this something which is causing the blockage?
What is the most effective way to clean the drain tubing.
I’ve checked the sink end and can see daylight right down the tube, so if blocked it must be somewhere inside the machine?Cheers

ParticipantFirst things first. Does the pump run when you press the reset buttons ? i.e Can you hear it audibly or does it just make a very quiet humming sound ? If it just makes a quiet humming sound then it could be blocked .
If you’ve checked for blockages in the pump and its clear but still not turning then it could need a new pump .
If its making the correct noises but still not pumping out then its time to seek an internal blockage.
I would drain it with end of drain hose in a bucket and see what the flow rate is like . If its weak or non-existent , i would look at breaking the drain system down into sections , possibly disconnecting the water matrix , and run these pipes into a bucket/bowl to see if you can locate any obstructions.
Always power off if checking internals of course !!!August 22, 2007 at 7:25 pm #222058donut

Ok, I’m fed up with it now.
I’ll be away on holiday now for a week or so but when I get back
I will go through all the things you have suggested.
As it happens it’s quite good fun seeing the Mrs wash up for a change!
Cheers for now…October 7, 2007 at 9:36 am #222059donut

Ok,
I’m not giving up.
Drains fine. Flow rate fine. I’ve drained it in a bowl and it seems to drain
without problem and empty completely. So pump working fine.
Tray is dry. All liughts on permanent and will not reset.!October 7, 2007 at 9:43 am #222060gegsy

When you say ALL lights, do you mean the ones on the programme buttons?

IMHO I think the module has lost its marbles or you have inadvertantly activated its coding or customer service programme.
Either way I would seek pro help on this one 😉
Please feel free to use the link below to find a suitably qualified engineer in your are.Greg

This is a new programmer which worked fine for a week, then
‘lost its marbles’.
Is there a way or resetiing the programmer.
I noticed that there is a spare button which is blanked off.
Would anyone know if this can reset the programmer?October 7, 2007 at 10:19 am #222066gegsy
ParticipantRe: bosch sgv43a03gb17
A new module would need to be coded to tailor it to your particular model 😉

ParticipantRe: bosch sgv43a03gb17
Oh.
Ok, had probelms.
Put them down to module.
Replaced module with new Bosch one.
Didn’t code it.
Worked perfectly for a week.
If it needs coding again how do i do this?
Where can i get code?October 7, 2007 at 10:33 am #222068gegsy
ParticipantRe: bosch sgv43a03gb17
Module will have to be coded, but unfortunately due to copyright so we are unable to provide you with this information. You could try contacting bosch directly to see if they will provide you with this information.
Sorry but I’m governed by the rules and in no way trying to hinder your repair.Greg
