ParticipantAny help please, I would be grateful….
My dishwasher is stuck in the cycle, keeps draining.
Pump spinning ok. Drains ok.
No blockages.
No red lights on the buttons anymore to show which prog its in.
Can’t reset the cycle using the buttons as per the manual.
I’ve looked at the module, and can’t see any sign of burns etc on the pcb
and the wiring seems to look okAny ideas please?

The white plastic base under the machine will be full of water. Drain the tray to reset the flood protection system, then it’s hunt the leak time.
Power off, of course.

How do i get access to the tray?July 21, 2007 at 6:15 pm #222042clivejameson

Machine out from under the worktop, side panels off then check the corrugated transfer hose on the left hand side.
You’ll be able to mop out the base tray from there….plug out of course :zap:July 29, 2007 at 2:15 pm #222043donut

OK,
Have checked the tray,
all seems ok with no water laying in it.
I’ve checked the float switch which operates
when lifted.
Any further help please??
Thanks again.July 29, 2007 at 4:05 pm #222044donut

Put it all back together, seemed to start going through some
kind of cycle, been on for about 40 minutes now and seems to be stuck in the drain cycle again.
Noticed that the aquastop is running warm/hot.
Is this normal?July 29, 2007 at 5:25 pm #222045donut
ParticipantRe: bosch sgv43a03gb17
Right,
Now been on for two hours.
Obviously going through the cycle as the machine is warm inside..
But, the machine is now flooded and water is dripping from machine.
Turned off water and the machine drained fine so not blocked.
Obviuosly the anti-flood thing didn’t kick in…

Have you checked that the corrugated hose is clean and the side chamber with the float is also spotless?

Thanks,
Side chamber with float has some gunge in it.
How do I clean it as it seems open at the top
but the opening is narrow to stop the float popping out?July 30, 2007 at 2:59 pm #222048clivejameson
ParticipantRe: bosch sgv43a03gb17
The only way is to dismount it and carefully open it up…you will need to loosen the large adjacent airbreak chamber then the float chamber can be pulled away. Do take care on opening it…there are a number of small plastic nibs that need to be depressed without breaking the plastic. You will notice that there is actually more than one chamber in the assembly so give it all a thorough clean out.
Once open i suspect all will be revealed 😉

No Luck,
Float all working.
Float switch working.
Draining away nicely.
Getting stuck in cycle.
I’m now assuming it’s the control module.Any thoughts please…

I’ve now replaced the control module.
Now the lights all work and the machine as tested so far will do
a prewash cycle ok (20mins), drained properly.
Ran the 35 degree wash (30mins) all finished properly.
But ran the 65 degree wash, finished the full cycle fully, but some water
left in bottom.
Did a reset and it drained nicely.
Am I correct in assuming that the pump runs for a set time, and so if the water is draining but not flowing properly due to a partial blockage, then water will remain.
Or, should it drain until completely empty?
If so why when reset did it drain OK?
I’m puzzled now….August 10, 2007 at 2:22 pm #222052clivejameson
