Had a wff2000 on today.

complaint was grating noise on spin.Aha thinks I nice easy 10 minute bra wire removal.

Sure enough there was a bra wire in there along with 11 others!!!.

Did a Philco many years back in nurses accomodation at a hospital must have had 20 at least, stuffed in the sump hose, around the heater, laying in the tub. That was before anyone really knew there was a problem with bra wires, customers are a bit more careful nowdays, only get one or two.

Old Philco many years ago, pulled off bottom hose and it paid out like a one armed bandit – about £27 in small change IIRC – and a couple of wires!

I cleared out a blocked pressure system on a hotpoint wma today, no beer money in the filter :cry:! but a very small plastic bag containing white powder – and no it wasn’t persil!!!

Hi guys,

I’ve just joined and I like this thread. Once I pulled an unused (in it’s packet) rubber johnny from a sump filter. The man of house said ‘that’s not mine or my wife’s’, and as I left he was shouting at his young-lookin daughter.

Oh yeah, an one time I took some fake fingernails from a pump.

The lady there was very upset saying stuff like ‘He’s been cheating on me again the b#####d!’ etc.

I put my head down and left quick (after the bill was paid). 😉

ps. do you have a policy on swearing and talking about rubber johnnies?

My toolbox contains a couple of rather nice stainless steel surgeons tools I retrieved from washing machines. I also once hade to get a set of keys out of a machine before a certain ward of the local hospital could be unlocked :boops:
