    To all candy/hoover engineers. have you been having trouble with door seals coming off drums I have two m/cs as above and both of them have had the door seal come off one of them twice.

    Overloading is the only cause..their not designed to have quilts ect or everything pulled out all at once.

    8kg machine small load and guess what ! Yep the door seal has just peeled off the bottom of the drum. So I ask again has anyone else had trouble with door seals coming away.

    No. Has it had a new deal fitted ?? Maybe clamp not right enough

    Are the shock absorbers okay? Small load is less likely to balance up and bounce around more.

    the original seal came off twice so put new one on and yes made sure that the clamping band was tight that too came off! the m/c is only three weeks old but because of where it is no gaurantee. m/c now back in workshop so we are going to test with our tea towles and anything else we can bung in
