KeymasterWe did discuss this before and were trying to gauge the interest in the idea, so who’s up for a Christmas night out. (aka: p**s up, Xmas bash ;))
This is primarily a social gathering and not for business, but we doubtless won’t escape that to a degree.
We are thinking on going to Sibson again for this and trying to get an all inclusive price, exluding booze as I’m guessing they won’t wear that! 😆

Now you’ve recovered from Stafford 😉
The UKW Xmas Bash !
Due to family commitments the 4th of December is unsuatable, so the previous weekend should be Ok I think, so:
Saturday the 27th November at the Millers Hotel in Sibson it is 😀
Details for the venue are here:
http://www.oldenglish.co.uk/inn/howtofi … useno=6483
Rates for the hotel are:
Meal: £25 per person.
Rooms: Double £49 Single £42.50 inc Breakfast.
Not bad considering the time of year, and I’ll book the rooms if that’s OK 😉 😆

KeymasterOi Dave, I vote we give Kevin & Bridie the fancy room this time around, I think they deserve it after the year they’ve had, so fair’s fair. Plus I may have a little gift for our Kevin, more on the night. 😆
27th fine by me and I will look forward to a most entertaining evening of drunken debauchery. 😉

Please book me and Carol a place at ‘The Christmas Bash’ on the 27th, also a Double room please? I understand from the guy at Millers that they are providing a Xmas Menu in the restaurant followed by a ‘Disco’???

OK, I’ll get this booked up as there are limited spaces left apparently.
I’ll cater for 20 odd at the moment, could I have anymore definites please fairly quickly.
Yes Martin, a Disco. It’s one of those noisy things with flashing lights that plays “all that new fangled stuff all sounds the same to me” type music 😆
Thanks.
Dave.

Damn, 😡 damn, 👿 damn, 😥
While you are all partying the day and night away I will be at the NEC working at the BBC Good Food Show. The main difference is that the drink and food is all free there. The problem is I cannot touch it as I am working.
There is always next year!!! 🙄 🙄

Hi Dave,
Can you book a room for Julie and me, I can see that there will be a few of the girls required at this bash as you buggers will all be too Pi**ed to drive home on the Sunday, knowing the time you stay up till, with a late bar. 😀 (or even without a late bar) 😀 😀

KeymasterI am considering flying into Brum and back on the Sunday if I can con some kind soul into picking me up and giving a lift back to the airport.
Flight after an evening like that… oh I so look forward to it! 😆

[/hint] 😉
I have to drive right past Birmingham airport to get to Sibson anyway, so if you don’t take Kev’s offer up, I can easily pick you up.

KeymasterThat’ll do Dave, time to go via Kev’s just isn’t on the cards then. 🙁 Anyway, Bridie keeps slagging me about looking like a tramp! 😆
So, we can get that sorted once I find out how to get cheapo flights, John?
