    Re: Christmas Bash 2004

thanks to Dave for getting myself, Kevin and Phill in at late notice. I have promised Dave I will buy him a half pint for all his hard work ( I’m Scottish for gods sake)

My better half always asks what we do at UKW meetings, she will find out on the 27th.

But not proud of it eh John as you’re no longer ‘flying the flag!'(so to speak- avatar 😉 )

Mines a pint by the way, as I’m not a Southern Softee unlike some 😆

Someone (Welshman I think?) shinned up the flagpole and took it ❗
But fear not John, I do have a spare one that Bertie Vogts gave me!!

Actually while we’re on this kick, is anyone else wanting to come along to the most unofficial meeting you’ll ever attend? 😉

    Dave,
Make sure you get the free drink before 12 because we know Cinderella Mckenzie goes to bed at midnight, at this time he is normally incapable of coherent speech. K

I will be in bed at midnight as I am working on Sunday whilst you will be sleeping it off in the back of the car with Jo driving you home.

    Thanks Martin, much appreciated.

Can you make sure that the flag is ironed and folded the right way before you post it. 😀

Sorry to say but there is yet another nasty rumour going about 🙁

…..word has it that Ken is turning up wearing a kilt :scots: ?????

……..so far at least we can only hope it’s just a rumour :rotfl:

No chance of a kilt, reserved for weddings only and even that’s under duress.

I have something planned alright, but I’m not giving the game away until the evening in question. 😉

I am 47 and have worn one once and that was under severe duress to go to a wedding. The whole outfit wieghs about 4 stone and before anyone asks yes I did wear it the way it was meant to be worn, very liberating.

Also very handy when you go for a pee!!!!!!!!!!
