I would suggest you find someone who makes and modifies equipment for handicapped people. I know someone who does this in Coventry but I’m sure there are such people all over the country. Possibly your local social services or special needs schools could give you contact details. I agree that it is beyond the scope of the average appliance repairer although I would do it if you were in my area.

I think this poster is completely off their rocker.allergies like hayfever and animals, yes i can believe, but an allergy of aluminium? i have never heard such a thing

There are lots more people out there nowadays who have allergies some of which are quite common like hayfever and asthma. Then you get the more obscure allergies like milk , nuts, latex and even the sun. Try Googling “odd allergy” there is loads of info.
One good lesson I learnt when I started work was “check it out before you shout it out”

Secondly, some years ago, a water-treatment works took delivery of a large quantity of (IIRC) Aluminium sulphate. This went into the wrong tank and the village served by the works suffered mass poisoning,chemical burns to the mouth and throat,etc. as a consequence.The water company denied there was any long-term effect,but analysis of the bones of victims shows a distinct deposit-layer of the aluminium-based compound.
To suggest there can’t be an allergy ,just because the vast majority of humans display no intolerance, shows immaturity and ignorance.
