Customer calls, no light in fridge.
Outcall/Diagnosis charge =£30.Will ring you back madam once i establish price from supplier.
connect £68.56 , rings madam, gives good news, madam declines and will live with it!
No loss to me. why worry? lol.
Just go with it guys ya wont win it.
I wrang them months ago on this very issue, my account was altered but now i think theyv’e sneaked it back up as the prices are becoming like they were.
I just order from someone else when this is the case on a item/spare so its their loss in my view.

I don’t want to knock any supplier but i stopped using connect over a year ago, to expensive and usually out of stock. 😥
On the other hand i have had an account with Masterpart since 1999 and they usually have the parts that i am looking for at reasonable prices. 😀

Just bought a module for a Servis FF from connect which turned out to be incorrect. So while serching around i found the same module on a couple of their retail sites they run ie Currys and B+Q. I paid trade £76:52 incl carrage and VAT, yet they are selling it retail for £74:97 including carrage and VAT. Phoned them and they got rep to call me who “could not understand how this had happened” and would get back to me. Still waiting his explenation.

Had connect rep phone me up today and he asked “why do i not use them?”… “am i i having difficulty with our site.” cheeky bloody rug rat! NO was my reply because your way to expensive! “who do you use then?” local wholesaler my reply. “ok we will give you a bigger discount go online and check the price difference!” so i did and lo and behold it was even more expensive!!!!!! I can not wait for the idiot to phone back to see what my reaction is i think he reckons i should be impressed.
To be honest my local wholesaler is only a little concern so i would much rather give my business to them then these people. At least it’s a personal service and they have helped me out in the past when i have been struggling or it needs sorting asap they have gone out their way to help. So i will do my best to help them out where i can.

My local guys manage to beat the bigger guys almost everytime.
I order 2 components, free DHL delivery, ordered at 3pm, in my hand by 9.15am the next day.
From the bigger boys a door seal that was to take 2 days, I’m still waiting on 2 weeks and there response was to go to my local post office and ask if they got it.

You also have to watch the prices on-line after placing an item in your basket.
On several occasions now I have put an item in the basket in the morning and when I place the order in the afternoon the price has increased considerably.
