I’m up to something as usual.
I could do with high quality graphics for all that are doing stands and helping to fund the event on a transparent background.
I want to promote them in a little video presentation thing I’ve got cooking.
Yes, I am working on presentations already and I’d suggest that if you want them to be slick or you have anyone wanting to have a slicked up presentation that they start now. It takes a bucketload of time to do these things and make them good so I need to work on these now until the night before.
I do put some effort into this.
Framework done for my keynote thing but it’ll change massively by the day. I know it will. But it’s way over 20 slides and, that’s me trimming.
Started on Lawrence’s bit. Made it a bit sicker, more animations etc. but I could do with a tone or topic to work with and, please don’t come up with some airy fairy cr4p thing. Down to Earth. Ideas?
Intro video presentation to run while all assemble. I had an idea, went with it. 🙂

Was looking at the video from last year ,For areas for presentation improvement (on my part).
I hadn’t realised just how good it looked ,
With regards to topic /tone depends upon who is there and what we want them to hear ?
With regards to stands ,the suggestion was made to make it simple 1.5 Mtr -£250Â
3mtr £500

I have also asked for PDF Jpg of logos and told them they need to register if thay havent already done so.

Waste pack recycling scheme from Amica!
I have used them now find them excellant, no more piles of polystyrene card board or packaging to pay to dispose off.
Just have to give them some WEEE to offset job done all Free!
How about inviting them along to the meeting?

Ian are you going to make it up for the drinking session… sorry, meeting… in January?
I want to go over some of the presentation stuff.
Some I will of course, for dramatic effect, keep up my sleeve for the day. It’s a thing I have to do it or I feel cheated out of a little moment that I so enjoy, seeing people’s faces when I hit them from left of field.
I also would like to get two projectors set up on stage, I have the stuff to do that, with two different video sources.
If anyone has a lighting stand thing, that’d be good as I have a gobo projector with a UKW logo on it.
I need to sort a microphone properly this time, I hate those “hold it to your face things” we get. If we can clear some funds, I’ll get two as I’m gonna buy one anyway.
Stand thing I’ll sort after the break for WTA/ISE/UKW. We will need them all IMO.

I think it’s time we invested in a pa system of our own ,will have a look over the hols , will also look at the cheek bud type of mike rather than hand held , We need a photographer as well I think ,Steve are you still looking for one ?

Hi all,
Are we going to get done the banners/posters or table cloths with company logos on to place around the room?
Have we a plan of the room so we can get the layout and positions of stands down on paper and put on web site, so everyone knows where they will be sited?

Have you had a reply from statesman?
I will again chase up, daewoo giving them cut off date if we havent had a response by 3 Feb then assume they do not want a stand.
