Participantwho has a google map local business listing ? ..
did you know they are free of charge , and will display your business name – details on page 1 of google
yes free of charge page 1 google
can be done easily in about 30 minutes ,
google want to offer local business,s a chance to compete with the big nationals and therefore give you google local business maps ..
this must really pee of the big nationals as they cant get on these local maps ?
great chance for everyone to win back the chargeable work that big co,s are hoovering up .
here a video on how to list business from google
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HPILL1eBcw
once your listing is live you can go back in and optimise it or get someone to do it for you ..
if you are lucky enough to not have any google maps coming up for keyword searchs in your area – then your google map listing will stick out like a sore thumb top of page 1 google ..
i have a few other marketing tips that can get you on page 1 google free of charge and above board – pm me if interested
ally ..
as a collective lets start sticking it to the man

you do know we can review each others google maps listing – thus helping it to be top of map listing …
only thing i dont quite know is if its better for review to come from a local source , ie within listing area..
the whole idea for this google maps is to get everyone a local listing and then optimise- review to keep them there..

Business saver for me being on googles local business listings.
When I lost my GBDAR work it was the first thing i did, before that I never had a website. It works really well for me.
But don’t tell too many people, well not in my area anyway.
I suppose 0800 franchisees can get on there because they have a local address?September 9, 2011 at 6:30 am #358546eastlmark

actually none and its very rare i have been bothered at home. The only time I worry is when we have a dispute with a customer or send threatening letters for non payment and for CCJ’s you have to use your real address so the person you are claiming from has it and that sometimes worries me given the low life we occasionally have to deal with.
Mind you, just had a quick look again now and it seems I am not there anymore….

you dont need a po box , go into your google places listing – theres a check box that says
my customers come to me ( uncheck this)
or
i serve my customers at their homes (check this)- this then brings up a map where you can set your coverage..for anyone who is new to google etc – you dont need a web site to be on google local – in effect the google listing is your web site as you can pretty much put every thing on their ..
including photos , videos etcthere is a place where you can put your web site if you have one or if you want you can put another web site on ..
