That’s great, thanks Martin. Out of interest, there appears to be a mistake in it. On page 17 ‘Fitting the new belt’ para 2 refers to using the other, cheaper, tool while still giving the part number for the proper one.

Yeah, it appears they are referring to the washing machine belt fitting tool in that paragraph. Perhaps lost in translation from Italian to English?

Didn’t think anyone bothered with all those fitting tools. Are they any good. Never had a problem fitting without tbh

Oh yes very much so. I bought mine donkeys years ago a lot lot cheaper than they are today but it has been a godsend. A single-handed great piece of hardware.
By the same token this subject has been brought up many times and many have posted their own reasons for NOT having one. The claims of them simply using a big screwdriver or metal bar or some such. The improvisational testimonies abound.

I have 2 lying in my lockup i’ve never used one for years i just use a big screwdriver and stretch the belt over the pulley with it, done 100’s that way easy peasy.
