    Huge jubilee clips on Bosch? Good Lord! 😕 Whatever is Ashby up to? I am intrigued as to where the jubilee clip fits then? 😯

    I have seen the huge jubilee clips on the slimline version of Bosch produced Hotpoint machines, never seen one on a full size job though.

    Just done some checking and in fact the large jubilee clip was used on full size machines. Mainly 68**,71***,78** models.

    Part number , 7081709.

    Have you looked closely for pin holes in stainless steel on area around salt unit inside tank as previously stated by Martin; or the salt unit retainer collar having come loose? Worth a check 😉

    Hi Chaps, thank you all for your suggestions. There is no clamp inside the machine and there isn’t a large jubilee clip around the seal either. It’s leaking between the seal and the sump at the back of the machine. I can see whereabouts it is by removing the inlet valve. The tank itself is ok.

    Hi All, Does anyone know the part number for a Tank to fit this machine please. DWF 33P/17, 1020 4290 22618 947 0065. and price. The stainless steal tank i’m refering to not the metering tank. or a second hand one? Thanks

    A quick look at Partfinder appears to show the tank but no part number either on the diagram or in the parts list. That would suggest that the price would be OTT. not sure if a Bosch one would be available, perhaps P45’s favourite, Granvilles Petro Putty might be suitable for a short term fix.
