    Valve is a C00094227. Hotpoint and Ariston dishwashers are sadly both Indesit machines, the part number shown on this site is an old part number that appears to have been superceded.

    maybe thats why the part number was superceded 😯 .

    replacement seal arrived today from UKwhitegoods 😀 speedy delivery or what.

    so anyway i thought i would check the part to make sure it was right and apon removing the seal currently in use i notice it has split again after being on there for 3 weeks 😮
    dont suppose i am doing something wrong ?????

    Hard to say, possibly overtightened. 😕

    What do you use to tighten the nut?

    A light application of Vaseline to the seal and gentle tightening may help.

    Never had this problem though. ❓

    i just do it up by hand i will try a bit a vacaline that may help
