Have to agree, zips go very quickly on those but again I am also guilty of trying to cram everything in. 🙁

Having needed a new tool carrying device for some time, I was interested to see some of the suggestions.
Having looked and justified things to myself I went for a Veto Tech Pack, having never before been a rucksack lover. All can say is what a revelation it is. Yes you have to be organised, but then that’s not hard.Yes you probably really need to think whether you still really need to carry things like the heater clamp washer tool for Zanussi wash craft and such, but once organised and set the bag is awesome, and when on your back, really steady and easy to move around. More importantly the weight within it seems to melt away with the back padding and padded straps really helping.
If you need to go further than curb side to front door with more than 10 paces I cannot recommend this bag highly enough.
Yes it isn’t cheap, but then nothing of quality is these days.September 9, 2016 at 2:02 pm #440389Martin

I’m still tempted to try a backpack as long as I can get everything in it that I want. Last time I bought a bag (a Plano toolbag) and got rid of it after a month because it was a pain finding anything. The backpack looks like it might work though.
I just don’t relish the idea of having to reorganise and work from a different tool case. -
