Good choice Caz, good luck with it. And, don’t forget you’ve got a 2 year warranty on it.

    Hotpoint

I too have had to replace these lifter approx 6/7 times in as many months. It has now got to the point where I am going to purchase a new washing machine which will NOT be a hotpoint but a Zanussi or Bosch. I have found when these lifters come out in a wash, clothes have been damaged. Never again will I buy any Hotpoint product.

Re: hotpoint wma32 washer, drum lifters breaking

I have finally run out of patience with my Hotpoint Ultima wma 63. See my earlier posts regarding drumlifters. The drum bearing went in January called out Hotpoint engineer just under !00 pounds to fix. July, another fault develops door switch light showing, replace switch, no joy suspect main board fault. So my three and a half year £500 pound machine is in the skip where it belongs. I have bought a new Bosch machine. Never again will I touch Hotpoint with a barge pole and neither will my friends and relations. Maybe one day Hotpoint will take notice.
