Clever! I promise not to tell anyone :innocent:
Took all the paddles off (thanks for the info, I would never have figured that one out), no sign of any bits in the tub. Whipped off the belt again and gave it a good fast spin. Definitely some noise in the bearings. Clicking is probably the wrong word but they sound a tad rough. No sign of any play or rust out the back, but I would expect this to be the final signs, long after damage had started.
So tempted to have them out to investigate but it doesn’t make any economical sense at all. So it’ll be run regardless I suppose. Will be interesting to see how long they last.
