Steady on Pat, no big deal there really, most of us have multi accounts anyway rather than putting all our eggs in one basket so to speak. Besides it keeps them (wholesalers I mean) on their toes by them constantly having to monitor what the opposition is up to stay up front 😉 😉 😉

Here’s a little news breakthrough for your eyes only OK?…….Wash Vac (a.k.a. Parts Center) are scrapping “Stocklink” later this summer for a more up-to-date ‘web-based system’ for all its customers. Those using the current Stocklink on their laptops in a customers home, will need a dial-up modem and access to their phone line or use a cell-phone to log on to the Internet for all the latest info on prices, diagrams, parts listing etc etc.

Also they (the Wolseley Group) are combining all their divisions into one single centralised accounting system, to enable account holders the same discounts and 28 day credit from other branches of Plumb Center, Build Center etc. etc. using their new account number ID.

Keep it under your hat though OK, nobody else knows 8)

I knew about the second bit but not the first bit, is that true?

As for using the rest of the group, i have always been peeved at not having an HRPC account when their invoice comes with the same logo as parts centre have.

Whot no seme account.
They dont stock evrything but postage is free for over £ 12 spend and they are very competitive.
Use them all the time because it takes ages for me to get a £65 order.

I did have a seme account, but forgot all about it, from what I remember they were OK ish,

Been quite happy with my maddocks, masterpart and washvac up to now, and use RS for odd bits like relays for hotpoint condenser dryers, not gen but are loads cheaper and higher rated and never fail.

Yes, they are. It will be the same or very similar to the HRPC site apparently.

You should also be able to merge your Washvac account with HRPC, Plumb Centre, Hire Centre etc etc.

Talking of Connect (which we were once), I just did a search for Merloni carbons, 047317. It came up with 2 results, genuine brush assemblies for £5.10 each or loose carbons by Electruepart (CBN5121), priced at a staggering £11.41 per pair. 😯
