What technical assistance? their technical assistance is really really cr@p. they don’t know what theyre talking about most of the time and WHY oh WHY have i:
a) been delivered 2 outer containers for the same job
b) been delivered a soap drawer for a job that i ordered a soap dispenser?ISDAL did well to put up with this, i wasnt aware it had been going on for so long though.
And im not going to mention a certain lady manager who is at LG either….. 👿

Have we drifted off the point from L.G.E. ??
2 Outer containers, that’s nothing. We tried to order an outer tub, front tub, seal, element & drum for a job. Their web site kept crashing out during the verfication of of order process. We made 6 attempts on ordering the same items with the same order number within 15 minutes. Eventually gave up & after checking on their site there was no current orders for that day, ordered by fax from ISDA.
Yes you guessed it, we have had 6 identical order deliveries from L.G. The last time that happened was last August & they refused to accept credit as we had “placed the orders”.
Regards Hazel Elliot, at this stage, No Comment, but I will say I am really pleased to be shot of them.

Plastic tubs.
You would have thought an alarm bell would ring; to see 6 orders of substantially large cartons all identical in content and order number placed in minutes that something was wrong. Even when loading it all onto the dispatch system or the delivery wagon. UPS who delivered to me had to use a different van that day to get it all on. 4 more turned up later in the week and I refused to sign for them.
Before you think the obvious that all done electronically and there isn’t anything in the system to flag this up, Distriparts with whom my Monthly bill is nearly £12K, does pick up any unusual transactions and they will phone us.
I’ve just phoned my local Euronics dealer to tell him that L.G. are going elsewhere and he is spitting feathers.

Reading this thread one would get the feeling all is not well with the set up as it is.
So, a new set up is being put in place and without even trying to see why the old did not work, you have to accept there was a need to change.
A tie up with a parts supplier makes sense as they will stock spares and you will purchase through them and therefore have an accountable route for rectifying errors and returning spares for credit etc.
They also have contracts with the firms doing this work and i suspect they will have to protect their agents to the hilt, to maintain their drive to become a serious contender for the best work provider in the UK.
Its all about all parties working together and perhaps this is the vehicle to run with as far as LG are concerned. Training is on offer and those who want it, are able to take it. I have also heard the job rate is approaching £40.00 per call ( hope thats true) which is seriously approaching a level we all would accept.

The above is all well & good, but it was running that way through Richard & ISDA. You could order via ISDA and they maintain and control the account. ISDA was left with the hit & problems.
My mistake was ordering direct from the website under my own account number. To compound my issues with them, once upon a time I was a direct agent; but after the inordinate amount of rejections, non payment & gross lack of support I decided to take less money & run all LG through ISDA.
For all that they aren’t so bad as Brandt & I’ve wanted to get rid of LG for 2 years.

On that note, it’s aout time CDSL had their own thread, the combined one with NESN is rather obsolete now considering they have parted company.
The other thread has primarily been NESN related anyway and can continue as such, also we haven’t heard much about Coverplan for a while, so a new thread it is 🙂

A few years ago ISDAL agreed to suffer a loss of quite a few thousand pounds (in the region of £20,000 +) writing off unpaid invoices and rejections and no credit for returned parts ect when L.G. was playing their games then and it seems they are still playing it now and where trying to push the issue.(they say a leopard never changes its spots)Hopefully connect have got the account fully underwritten by insurance to cover themselves as I can see the same thing happening again.
Whilst I was on the phone to a certain member of senior L.G. staff yesterday and they are’nt happy about this situation either and the moral within L.G.’s service department is low and not looking forward to this change over at all.
And as for Peter Butt..he must have some juicey stuff on a few senior staff at L.G. to be able to keep his job for so long,My son knows more about their appliances than he does.Ive never known Peter to give a straight and forthright answer to any question handed to him either in person or over the phone,Ive yet to receive a call back or any answers by e-mail.
