Re: In search of the fourth cord

Was watching that one last night, funny but the link in the post from Chris takes me to a log in page?

At least Lee did call him a gentleman, not what I would call some of them, in private BTW. 😉

Very strange, this is Dons link exploded

    http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ic&t=52436

This takes me to the Damned public thread.

This is the link from your thread.

    http://ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.php?n … 33111e1392

Which is still taking me to the user log in page… :con:

    From a PM from Chezza:

chezza wrote:I never thought it possible to hate someone without knowing them, but I fear this character is coming very very close to it .
Maybe it is an age thing

Lee’s just kicked it off again with the latest reply. Time for action?

Re: In search of the fourth cord

I have to say the Lees observations of the fiscal mores of our Asian brethen do bear out my experience as well sadly. 😥

It may be a cultural thing but I wouldn’t post it on an open forum though.

Another gentle shot across the bows maybe, BTW who are the BMP?

TBH, I am having more fun reading the ‘gone dead’ thread started by adv.

It really does go to show that domestic appliance peeps are a unique and strange breed and no mistake. 😆

Sorry about the comment in response to Lee but, I’d had enough.

Irrespective of anyone’s particular views this is no place to air any racial slurs, to my mind it’s not acceptable. I don’t mind the odd jibe in good humour, not an issue, but Lee was coming across as being serious.

Re: In search of the fourth cord

Not sure what is going on here but in the post from Chris in THIS thread the link he has posted also takes me to a log in page… 😕

When you expand both the link in that post and the one mentioned ealier in this thread they have &sid plus a load of extra numbers at the end of the link.

Have you got some gremlins on your PC Chris?

    Jim.

EDIT. Doing a bit of searching around and it appears &sid is something to do a ‘session ID’ some techno guff about forcing the browser to open a fresh session or stop the page caching. Not sure if it is something on your system or changes to your browser settings Chris. :con:

Try posting another link in this thread to see what happens.

It must work for Waters as he’s replied……?

OK, Here’s one I picked at random.

And here without it’s clothes on:

Re: In search of the fourth cord

OK, links work for me, but Julia’s machine is going to user log in page. If she then attempts to use my log-in, it comes up with “General Error” and “Could not find topic information”.

Doesn’t make any sense to me…..

    C.

[Edit; if she then goes back to the original link it goes to the page it should without any problems]
