KeymasterRe: In search of the fourth cord
Got the email.
We have one user with “rocks1” as a username, no posts. Is a member of the trade section though so could well have posted across to another forum.
Banned for now and removed from trade users.
I will assume that the account has either been compromised or the guys just a tw4t. 😉

KeymasterHar har… he’s online now and about to find trade access revoked and a surprising inability to post or PM anyone about it. 😉

Perhaps I should trawl through all of his posts at DIYnot.com and post suitable comments.
I wonder how long it would be before I was banned. 😈

KeymasterI looked, there’s a few that look like direct lifts from here, trade section, to that’s not happening no more. 😉

Surely he could re register with a different username.
Unless of course you have the business details he provided at the time he applied for trade access. 🙂

KeymasterHe could and, may do, yes.
But I’d probably suss it, there are ways and means. 😉

Quite funny actually, look at the stats:
User Rank: 15. rocks1
Last Seen: 17:53:37
Page Views: 95422
That’s awfully high for someone that’s never ever made a single post and been on the site since 2006!
Ho hum.

KeymasterYeah well I did some digging through the 2000+ posts on DIYNot and there are more than a few copyright infractions on there.
The guy just giving out advice illy willy with no regard for safety or copyright.

I feel minded to reply but may just ignore it, after all we have nobbled the ‘leak’ although, theft may be a more appropriate description.:rolls:

In case he asks I have just deleted a totally pointless post from turbodry in the Rumour Mill forum.
Headed ‘World will end in 14 days says James Dyson’, the post read,
‘Just thought the rumour mill was getting a bit stale’
