:O
Cancer! I hope it’s not bad and I know that sounds bad probably but you know what I mean and that you have a speedy recovery.
My mother is undergoing treatment now for the Big C with an op on the horizon so I do know it’s not nice.

Do hope things work out Ok Carl, me I have had enough. Its like being a nursery school teacher, trying to keep , stupid, bullying, ill mannered, ill educated brats in line. I am due to go off to Tenerife on the 12th November for a week. until then I will read any notifications, otherwise, “I’m out”. 🙁

I wouldn’t let it get to you Jim, they’re just being idiots.
I get the impression that a lot of businesses are strained at the moment and, no doubt, with Baumatic going pop and the possibility Fagor may, it won’t help lighten the mood.
The DASA thing is, well just the DASA thing really.
Dill is just being Dill.
Jamie Parrie is just being Ade.
The others I get the sense are just lashing out a bit. That said, a lot of it is gold, you couldn’t make it up if you tried. 😆

Guys I am fine, it was caught very early, the Chemo which is ongoing at present has shrunk it and a now it’s also twice a week radio therapy whilst I wait for the new knee to be made, hopefully just a few more weeks to go.
I just sit having my chemo infusion which takes about an hour, reading the forums and pee myself laughing at some of these posts. Seriously the nurses think I am just a joker here!
Jamie/Ade, whatever he is, one minute too tight to spend £70 on WTA membership because it doesn’t pay him anything (despite getting that and more back via schemes like the PL&EL insurance thing) 2 minutes later looking to spend £700 a man (and when you do the maths is supposed to indicate 5 guys) on training guys at Dixons who once trained couldn’t diagnose a hole in a door seal without supervision for a while. Anyone know anyone whom did this type of course and instantly was a decent reliable unsupervised engineer, nope I thought not.
Then he posts as its Ade peed all over again, claims you accused him of working in Cardiff when he doesn’t, only forgetting of course that one of his earliest posts about National Home whatyoumaycallit he said he covered Cardiff. He really does think we are all as stupid as he is!
The problem Jim is you, me, Ken and almost all others on here are men of integrity and honour, Dildo, Jamie / Ade, are con men without honour and we find it difficult to accept those types of people in our lives.
Me, I now just laugh at them now, life as I have just almost learnt is far too shot. At 43 years of age I shouldn’t know that but I do.
Jim enjoy the holiday, you deserve it. There are a great deal of people on here whom totally respect the help and assistance you give freely on here daily, me especially, and this place wouldn’t be the same without you! Sadly we don’t say it enough and I am to blame for that too. So thanks Jim!!!!
Return to us safely Sailor, but enjoy the trip to the maximum life will legally allow you to.

Thanks for those kind words Carl, many years ago when I was a teenager 18/19, about 1965/6 I found a lump on the side of my neck. they removed it at the local hospital and I thought that was the end of it. A couple of months later I got a letter asking me to attend Christies Hospital in Manchester for treatment. At that time I had never even heard of Christies, now a world renowned cancer treatment centre.
It seems that the lump itself was not malignant but I had several lymph nodes under my arms and on my neck that raised concern. I had three weeks of X ray treatment, lost some my hair at the time but was given the all clear. For about 15 years afterwards they kept a check on me. First once a month, then six months, then a year and so on. After about five years they then just contacted me by letter to enquire about my wellbeing once a year. I have not heard from them for over 20 years now so I is safe to assume that the treatment was a success. Things have advanced out of all recognition from those days so I am sure your prognosis is very good.
I think I may have stumbled on who jamieparrie is, I am friends with Eddie Laycock on Facebook and he is a friend of Adrian Welke, I am not firends with Ade I hasten to add. It seems the Ade has moved to the Wakefield area but if you look at THIS you will see a Jamie ‘Parmley’ named as an associate about halfway down the page.
TBH I am still full of a dreadful cold so patience is in short supply ATM. I’m sure a week in the sun will soon have me back on top form.
I suspect that THIS is our jamieparrie
Jim.

Bang to rights, our jamieparrie looks like he is possibly 29 year old Jamie Micheal Parmley.

First and foremost, with the important stuff…
Carl, I am very pleased to hear that you are well under the circumstances and immensely pleased that you have retained your sense of humour as your post earlier did cause me to laugh.
I can appreciate though that Chemo etc is not a pleasant experience and one I hope never to have to undergo myself but, having seen it first hand for the first time, I do know it’s an unpleasant thing regardless of how light you might make of it. Kudos though for being as upbeat about it all.
I also didn’t know that about you Jim obviously.
If I didn’t know better, Id start to be thinking we had a club of cripples here.
Thankfully, we’re far from mentally crippled, unlike some it would appear.
I tend to have a sixth sense for these things, don’t ask me why as even I don’t understand it but, I’ve suspected for a long time that the Jamie Parmlie account was Ade in disguise. Probably from being online so long, you get to “know” the indicators. In any event, either it is Ade or, it’s someone posting on his behalf using copy and paste.
Now although we have enough circumstantial to hang an elephant and probably prove the case, I’d like to have a complete and utter slam dunk. Then I want to moderate his a$$ and, if possible go that step further and banish that account to the hinterlands where few have gone, complete ban.
Either or will do. At least with that in place we can all relax a little, not least myself and Lawrence who it has to be said gets extremely stressed by that idiot. He, like me, has received many an abuse email, text and the odd call from the muppet. Whilst I strategise and figure out how to deal with it best poor Lawrence gets completely stressed about it and, the sad thing is, that ar$ehole knows that and uses it.
I don’t like that.

I’m guessing that this trade member asked before copying and pasting the Error Codes thread to his website. :rolls:

I’m sure Lawrence will be horrified at that!
I don’t know who he is or, if he even has an account.
