Do not understand that I have tought that you & lerch have told stupid information…
Please, before taking any action against anyones opinion make sure that he wanted to say that…
In new words: till now I have worked already on few Arcadia models and are a bit worse then earlier from programming and reading point of view… otherwise are the same SH…helo_75 which hardware key did you used on ARCADIA? in order to read last error or taking into test?

Hoping the smart card type boards will be available from EMW as this new set up seems a load of hassle

Participantnah, quite simple, plug in the reader, insert card, wait 5 minutes, take card out, done
no danger of putting eprom in wrong, or even the wrong eprom

Thanks for info… 8)
until now I didn’t used Key in those, because I was afraid to not damage it (first time when I’ve sought Arcadia I was checked which pins are for power supply and did not matched with EVOI/EVOII/LowEnd and I didn’t found nowhere info about which Key version could be used)…June 12, 2008 at 3:32 pm #254288CometBez

Helo is right, the old test key can only be used on the EVO2 boards, it does not work on the new Arcadia board.
Also, if your little green light on your smart reader does not stay permanent green then the data has not transferred, so the card will not have wiped.
It does appear that the new(?) EVO2 welded eeprom boards already have data on them, all we are doing is re-prog’ing them.
Luv Merloni or what!!

Hi hpoint,
The old black key is not supposed to be able to prog Arcadia as the processor does not recognise it, how the heck are you doing it, or are you referring to the EVO2 boards?
Cheers

I have C00095669 (that transparent one) which works, like I told before, with all models.
I didn’t try it on Arcadia… Could I try? or not?
I ask this because I do not want to damage it, I cannot manage to get another one…June 12, 2008 at 8:36 pm #254292helo_75
Participantinterestingly, for the indesit with the board at the top, u will need the original hardware key, because youll need the adapter and cable to plug the smart card reader into
the plot thickens

if you mean for LowEnd I use adapter for the key… and thru serial cable for programming or diagnose with PC…
