    Yes they do work. You can still find the error codes just by running the machine and checking error lights but the test plug just makes life easier. Also good to be able to run through a quick test routine after a repair to check if everything is working ok. It all depends on how many Inde/Hotpoints you are going to work on as to whether it is financially viable. Had the test plug for about a year but never needed the low end adaptor yet so could probably do without that.

    Quick question…is the Low end adaptor sold for the smart card re programmer the same as the low end adaptor used with the hardware key? They look identical but have different part numbers.

    Is the same LowEnd adapter but the last version (2007) is used also on cool new platform application.

    If you are going to get one make sure it is the one marked 2007 as it will work with all appliances that require an adaptor. The early (2005) version will not work with the latest refrigeration modules that are mounted at the top.
