    Re: ISDAL

From what I can fathom, I think they’re getting grief from Gorenje over initial call times and return to repair times.

Given that Gorenje are a chunk of work and, recent goings on at Hi Group, I can see why JHJ might be a bit on the wrong side of upset but, that doesn’t excuse the tone or some of the content IMO.

But, to start an blanket email with saying that clients say we’re crap, when romancing for other contracts is, to be frank, terminally stupid.

They’ve just received 40+ Job chases from me relating to jobs waiting for parts over 21 Days!!!!!

Chases can work 2 ways a?!… I might add a ‘Poor Performance’ amount on my invoice as they are restricting my income…!

    Re: ISDAL

We chase every job waiting for parts on a weekly basis through the job messages.
We know it annoy’s the girls but as dave has said..that’s what it’s there for and we are showing our accountability by chasing part’s.
We also close jobs after 90 days for payment for the call only if parts haven’t arrived as parts unavailable and also put notes on that if the remaining parts are not received within 2 months all parts for the call will be returned for full credit

    Re: ISDAL

If ONE MORE customer calls us ‘Sh1t’ etc etc etc beause we are waiting for B/O Parts, I will no longer give them (WP’s) a fukcing telephone service!!!!! I’m getting proper sick of arguing with customers (That’ll NEVER use us in a chargeable manner due to ongoing warranty repairs) over parts & why’s & where’s and How come I was told etc etc!!

I think there will soon be a recordered message that the customer will have to listen to prior to my phone ringing that will state that we will not be able to help anyone enquiring anout warranty repairs and to contact their relevant call center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if they come through, I think I’m just going to say ‘You need to ring……………..’!

Not the best time to talk to me about reducing rates die to bad performances I’m telling you!!!

    Re: ISDAL

Well they are due to pay now, but as was a silly weekend I’m prepared to give them those four days. Will be keeping an eye on them though.

    Thanks for the reminder.

And it would seem that the old “gut feeling” was indeed correct.

It will be an interesting few days we have now as the dust settles.

    Re: ISDAL

Dave highton is now employed with JTM. He doesn’t actually know what his job is but he’s been given a hire car and e-mail address and picking up a laptop tomorrow.

As for julian..It was whispered he was going to fridgidaire or Hi Sense with Richard daley but that may not be correct..he’s working heavily with CATA i’m told trying to sort out their mess with parts.

    Re: ISDAL

So they sideline Paul Greenberg, then use Dave Highton to do more or less the same role? How does that work?

If I get 5 mins later I’ll try & find out more.

    Re: ISDAL

Hell knows what’s going on in that camp and, TBH, I just don’t get it.

Why would JTM pay money for it, the work has to go somewhere and they have a 33.333…{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance of getting it but, likely better odds than that given that one is (or viewed as) an almost ran.

What the hell is the point of paying for business you’d get anyway?

    I don’t get it.

Unless of course the object isn’t to get the business as such but to retain it and/or prevent others from getting there first. Even so, it still makes little sense.

Dave, they’ll use as long as possible, mine as much as they can and move on I expect and it makes bringing some agents over easier I expect. But, again, why bother?

Tactically, this makes no sense to me.

Of course there could be something in it I’m not seeing as yet, which may well be a fair point but I can’t see many options in this.

    Unless…

Unless this fits with the distribution thing?

Or, perhaps that the failure to raise capital (as mooted) is correct and that 0800 et all is troubled?

I gotta say, there’s been rumours of AN Other SP being in trouble for months (not ISDAL) and I’d pegged it as either JTM/0800 or NESN as they don’t have the safety net that RC does. Logical assumption although, as I keep saying, assumption is the mutha of all f**k ups. Nonetheless, it’s a reasonable conclusion to draw.

Are they that desperate for business?

I honestly don’t know but, after a few meetings and several calls over the past week or so, it doesn’t seem beyond reason that it could be the case.

The question now is, what happens if another one goes?

    Re: ISDAL

Or being as cynical as usual…

Maybe they bought the book at a knockdown price and are trying to extract as much cash as possible from the manufacturers.

Which they’d just bank of course, the repairers would never see a bean.
