How far away is Richard from retiring anyway, does anyone know? I can’t imagine that he has long to go.
Dave H would be a suitable replacement IMO.

K.The above statement has surprised me. Reason being, I phoned his nephew this morning and he tells me Richard is 56, that is younger than me. He was old when I was a lad, so I dunno how that happened.
Depressed now, off to have a glass of tonic wine, watch Countdown and have an afternoon nap.

Bloody hell, he’s had a hard paper round then and Alex, you must be wearing it well. 😉
Had a chat with Dave today about a call he wanted doing, trouble with the existing agent apparently. :rolls:

Hi
Samsung are paying £55 per call to ISDAL but carls pussing for independant engineers countrywide it looks like as they are getting better service and better customer feedback.

Bryan,
Tell Carl to give me a call or, even better, come see me and I’ll sort him out with a load of people that he can use. I do that quite regularly for people.
I have Mr Highton up seeing me this week at some point so if there’s any message you want delivered just ask. Other than that Tony Clifton is being an ar$e and telling fibs, a little conversation with Richard after he posted made that more than abundantly clear.

K.Is this to do with the Repairs@ that he was taken to task upon by the customer? If so is it worth updating in the appropriate A.C. thread.

My original post was to get an idea of what the other engineers was experiencing with this range in an honest manner as an increase in my area was unussual and didnt get any feed back from ISDAL as ussual.
Not having many Ber’s for years then suddenly having a surge needed to be asked in my opinion.
Maybe Richard should have made a little telephone call first to see if he wanted to reduce the amount of exchanges he claimed.

The new call logging regime on the web-site is very good. Gives you all the prices etc. and at least they are making an effort.
Watch the accounts though. Tracey is Months behind, and it shows. She still hasn’t banked my cheque for purchases as sent 18th April. Never had a statement for May, now received one for June, still showing March, April & May. I pointed this out to Dave Highton 7th June and he was supposedly on the case. I’ve since told them I am not paying anything until this cheque has cleared and they sort out the credits I’m due on damaged Leibherr doors. I stopped doing Leibherr some time ago, citing the fact I’m not taking any more hits on the packaging of parts.
Hollow protest though as they owe me a damn site more, and will probably contra. If they do that, I will terminate without notice.

Na, it’s just the guy talking b0ll0cks basically, according to Richard he gets nowhere near that amount of work. In fact, if the figures are correct, he’d be struggling to write one off a week!

Concerning statements
Ive just today received mine which is the first one for about 2 months,STAMPED…OVER DUE..lol
Went through the invoices that they owe us for and they havent paid and they are behind in march’s and aprils not paid.
Tracy needs to either stop being flamin picky for a matter of 5p over charge on a part which then was returned at a cost of postage and time ect.
The option of Misc parts when there is no part number ie when melvin takes a part off a broken appliance the part comes as misc..invoiced isdal the same but was rejected as Misc part..

I have today fired a warning shot over ISDALSbows informing them that there accoubt is due to be put on hold until the accounts situation is sorted.
I received a fax from tracy fairburn stating Account was overdue and that they would not be paying me for work carried out until this was cleared.
Informed wendy that they in fact owe me 10 times what I owe them.
That really erm pleased meand in my own tackfull way I responded.
Alex have you had your statement yet ? or a simular demand ?

I had a statement for 3 months purchases. I’ve e-mailed Wendy several times, and been promised a result. Nothing. Iv’e also spoken to Dave Highton who has passed it on, again nothing. They still haven’t banked a cheque I sent 18th April.
They owe me considerably more than I owe them, and I’ve a feeling they will try & contra. That is all well & good but there are several invoices in dispute regards credits etc. on Leibherr parts arrived damaged.
My best course of action I suspect is to tender my notice, but I will be stuck regards the disputed purchase invoices.
It is time to pounce though.

Without pointing a finger….
I had a strange e-mail from Wendy and she tells me that she has been made aware of my accounting differences from a 3rd party. She went on to say this 3rd party even told her I have an uncleared cheque on her accounts. She did not let on who that was, and I made it clear I don’t want to know either.
Can I ask ALL members of this room, all postings, comments and sentiments are 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} confidential, and need to be kept within these walls. The rationale with this part of the site is we work together, yet seem apart.
