KeymasterIt’s now online, truck should be offloading by Thursday. 😀
It’s online as two items with the two warranty configurations as shown here:
What we can’t do is alter the warranty after purchase, meaning that, if the customer buys it as a 2 year warranty then decides a few weeks later to upgrade then they’ve had it as it can’t be done. You can use the normal insurance of course to do it but that’s a LOT more expensive.

DVDs are being burnt now with all that and a very rough video on how to take it apart. You should have them by week end if not before.

Hi Don,
£271 excl. for the 2 year warranty.
£321 excl. for the 5 year warranty.
I made a slight error on the price of the 5 year one earlier, sorry.

I haven’t been able to catch up with John yet, my fault not his, so don’t know much about the machine.
Is it made by Amica?

KeymasterYep Tim, made by Amica in Poland.

Probably me being thick as usual but in the shop the 2year machine is £399.99 and the 5 year one is £469.99 so, if there is a difference of £50 should it not be £449.99?

The £50 difference is on the trade price. 😉
That’s where I was getting confuddled earlier!

Looking through the Portway stuff I picked up at the meeting is the AW23 the same as the AWCN14D amica machine?
Also, out of interest who covers Amica’s 2 year guarantee?

As I understand it the AW23 is unique to ISE and GDHA cover the warranties on anything sold by portwayMarch 31, 2009 at 7:27 pm #281802timdowning

Thanks Lawrence.
I’m not playing Devils Advocate here but I am just interested in the finer details.
When you look at the difference in trade prices of both machines I think the finer details are necessary.Tim.
