ParticipantThanks Tim good to see you this morning – thanks for the very kind words.
Jim – glad you like the DVD, we’ve really tried hard to learn from previous launches and get our act together it seems a life time ago I was showing you the proto-type in Manchester.

Hi John, having just watched it I have one question about the short video on the new DVD, just exactly how did he get the facia off the AW23. 😆

Installed my first AW23 this afternoon. The transit bolts are much easier to remove but I do miss all those stickers with the serial number on them. 😉

Me too, really quiet as well.
Agree stickers were handy save making a mistake on writing.
One issue if you have noticed all the cotton washes default to 1000RPM, you have to go to spin option and go through every one until it selects 1400. Just a bit annoying. have told customer its just an eco saving option, only time you need it is for towels etc.
Do you replace the transit crossbar back on machines for extra support?

One thing I forgot to mention. due to the Beko/Vestel machines having detergent drawers that are quite difficult for older people who may have less strength I always demonstrate how to remove the drawer.
I should have RTFM. 😳
I looked inside the drawer and tried to press down on what appears to be the release flap to no avail.
I then found that the drawer just pulls out with a gentle tug and the ‘flap’ is in fact the top of the rinse aid syphon. 🙂
Unfortunately I pressed so hard that I seem to have damaged the first joint in my index finger. It is very bruised and sore this morning and I have to try and fit a Zanussi door seal this afternoon. Even pushing a door bell is extremely painful ATM. 😥

I suppose that it is already on the ‘to do’ list, 😉 🙂 but will we be getting any AW23/ISE10 promo leaflets to leave with customers?
I still have half a dozen of the old ones with the Vestel machines in that I am editing

It is indeed on the to-do list, along with about a squillion other things. :rolls:
John’s off this week and next.
I’m off next week.
I got a machine to do photography on Tuesday morning.
You can, I’m sure, see where this is going… 😉
However, there is something that we can do even while everyone tries to chill for a week as, even with the limited access that I will have, I will still have a laptop and a connection so if there’s anything specific that you want let me know as I’ll probably do some of the creatives over the next week.

There’s nothing in the user book about how to set the delay start.
I’ve figured it out, but there’s nowt in writing.

😳
My bad. 😕
On the upside, there’s nothing about it in the factory version either but that wasn’t too good IMO anyway. Put it this way, I’m now fluent in English (although some may argue that 😆 (Mr Banks, please sit down ;))), Turklish, Swedlish and now Poglish and can read wiring diagram colours etc. in various other tongues.
I am also quite proud of the fact however, that I know nothing of Chinese Mandarin yet. 😉
And, to be fair to myself I did have to write the manual with no machine to actually physically use.

Are you going to keep it to yourself then. 🙂

Select programme.
Select options.
Press “Start”.Screen will change and bring up a rectangle showing “0.00” and a dot, for about 15 seconds. During this time, press the start button repeatedly to set the delay in half hour increments. When you stop, the screen will step forward and display the delay time and programme information.
To cancel, press and hold “Start”.

I thank you. 8)
Just had a quick gander at the user manual, which ‘Options’ button are you referring to?

Four buttons below the screen – you have to select any options required from them before starting the programme.

Four option buttons, Easy Iron, Spin Speed, Wash and Rinse.
Wash lists Standard, Eco & Intensive at the side, is this the one you pressed to get at the delay options?

No……
Ignore the option buttons – programme selected – press “Start”. Then the screen changes to the rectangle with “0.00” in it. If you do nothing, the screen will drop out, the programme info screen comes up and the programme will start. If instead, you press the “Start” button, the “0.00” will count up in 1/2 hour increments with each push. When you have achieved the desired delay time, stop pressing, the machine has a little think, then the programme screen comes back up, showing the selected amount of delay and starts counting down to launch.
Chris.
