KeymasterGlad to see that this forum hasn’t’ completely died on its ar$e.
Now, can we get on with stuff that actually matters?
Start appropriate other threads where you think it’s relevant…
DASA, WTF is going on and is SD seriously trying to stab it to death, stamp on it then burn it? Then kill it some more?
“SD” is not Scooby Doo in case you wondered. At least Scooby Doo stumbles into the right answer every once in a while. 😉
And other stuff I need to dig into probably as well but I thought I’d start the ball rolling with something highly contentious that will either illicit responses one way or ‘tother and kick a conversation off or, continue to kill it. However, I’d hope for better and a reasonable adult conversation on the subject.

Although IMO I am the worst enemy someone can have (As I have no fear of repercussions anymore and quite plainly do not give a flying sh1t who I upset by speaking public as long as what I say is factual), I don’t know enough about SD or his current stature within DASA to kick off such a thread.
If someone were to contact me anonymously with ‘Intel’ or concerns, I’d happily put my name to the ‘Post Author’ to kick it off!

I actually don’t think that any public discussion about it would be constructive TBH. The only people that can actually do anything about DASA is those within DASA and, as we’ve witnessed, getting into a conversation about it just seems to lead to UKW/WTA/anyone being blamed for whatever criticism is levelled.
So, pointless really and every time degenerates into a mire with little positive out of any conversation or debate.

Well it’s preying a bit on my mind.
Support 0800, set up your own networky thingy bob…
And, apparently (I’m informed) Mr Debeger has practically sod all to do with running Respond, it’s some other ex-Lux dude who’s name escapes me.
Now, if I were one for opening up cans of worms which, let’s face it, I am…
RSL already has three listed locations, I know as I dug them all up and only listed the Tunbridge Well one IIRC but, I’ve almost done scanning every single known repairer in the UK and I can assure you that the the three as published on their site are correct and, they’re quite strategic.
All they need is one to the West of London and they’re done with London and a good chunk of the Home Counties.
Now, if I were a Service Force spod in the surrounding districts I’d perhaps be a little concerned especially in light of the apparent national aspirations.
If I were Lux I’d be worried about getting into a Whirlpool Mess as that’s not at all pretty.
If I were DASA I’d be concerned about the national thingy bob and perhaps looking at what was being done and why.
Mind you, Masterfix seems to have eyes on the whole national cover thing as well. I can’t say too much as I don’t know anything about it really at this stage but I would say, be warned, be wary.
I do however intend to find out more and another reason that this should all be explored in this particular thread. Thread’s quite appropriate actually as a description or, perhaps web, again appropriate IMO.
Just as people look at UKW and me then wonder, why the hell does he do that for free, what’s the point? I do unto others exactly the same only difference is, I know I do stuff because I want to do it and I think it serves the greater good. I’ve put more than a few stakes in the ground on many fronts there like, I’ll never do the “network” thing as then UKW would just become the very thing I abhor and have always spoken out against. I’m not too keen on any form of domination and deliberately steer away from that. Etc.
Sounds a bit defensive that but, so be it. I don’t much care TBH, I do what I do.
Others, well let’s just say I don’t think they view things in the same light nor do I feel that there is a glimmer of altruism in much of what goes on. In fact, for the most part, it’s not to hard to see through to the alterior motives, if of course you have a broader view of things.
So many questions. So many conspiracy theories. Not enough time to answer and explore them all.
Enough time to kick over a few stones though, open some cans and let the worms flow.

F*** me!
If I saw this and was an SF agent I’d be even more worried…

That’s a promo video for RSL.
Or, it it that RSL are SF?
Not even slightly subtle.

Cor Blimey Gov’ner!
This is the first I have seen & heard of this fixed price thing as far as S/F is concerned.
I have not been approached to be part of it, and at £69 may not be workable.
It may work for them in built up areas, but they are looking at London Southeast prices, beats me how they can do it? I suppose like Repaircare 0800.com & find an engineer.com. If you can’t beat them etc.
The Youtube may be a Service Force thing, and RSL used as a template. If I was RSL I would not publicise the 08705 number as gets intercepted by D&G who pull off the chargeable calls. All my vans have MY Number along with my paperwork letter headings etc. 3 Vans have my own livery as well. I’m gradually pulling away from the corporate image. RSL However are geared mainly around Lux group work.
RSL Doesn’t do Central London, South East London or across the Thames in N/E Kent. They are huge though.
To be honest whatever RSL do S/F related doesn’t bother me as S/F is only 14{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my operation. Interesting to see what is what though.
S.D. Does devote a lot of time to DASA and he is driven in this case by passion, his business is big enough and has enough managers to allow him to pursue other interests. I’ll leave you with that thought.

Or… 😉
It might be that he is wanted “out the way” and has been instructed.

If by Electrolux, highly unlikely his business partner perhaps, but you never know.

Partner apparently, who I am told by a few, is the actual brains of the operation.
I can’t quite get to grips with SD’s actual role.
