Going back over twenty years now, so I might be mistaken…

Under the filter at about 11 o’clock position, there is a two inch high tube sticking up with a small hole through the top.

If I remember correctly, you need to suck any water out of that pipe. Best done with a drinking straw and a small syringe. You can also use a trigger spray head (from a bottle of kitchen cleaner etc) .

    Good luck

thanks for the reply bobokines what do you mean by a trigger spray head. if that dosent work can you get at the pipe work from the front. as its an intergrated and could be a bugger to get out. would you be able to get a bottle brush into the pipe or is it a small pipe. would that be the most likely cause a blockage would trapped water in that pipe cause it not to fill . is there a pressure stop system on the valve and is there a i w m s type system on these dishwashers. and who made the jackson first one ive come across thanks. fasetester 🙂

Can’t really remember to be honest. It must be 20 years ago that I trained on these machines. I think the pipe that I am refering to is the top of the pressure chamber.

went to dishwasher today even when i have all the screws out the dishwasher will not move. could not get it out. what could be holding it. hi chris me again. when the dishwasher starts a program it pump out then fills for about 20sec. then you can hear the water empying out even when it is switched off. at the wall it does not matter where you put it on the program wash rince ect when you kill the power at the wall and open it the water is empying out. when you pull out the drain pipe not that much water coming out it is not pumping like for over fill or running anti flood . possible that why washer pump is not going. any help please fasetester.

thanks for your reply martin you would think it was siphon. the water is running out and not giving the washer pump time to wash. what would i need to check the pump is not running it is empying throught gravity .martin and how do i get the legs to ajust up thanks. fasetester 🙁

Search me pal, I’ve no idea, not sure what an old jacksons legs looks like any way? I guess they are metal, need a load of WD40 to free off and possibly a 10mm spanner….?….dunno?

What I do know is that the base is most likely flooded, the anti-flood device is causing the drain pump to run continuosly and you need to unscrew those legs somehow? 😕 Even if the machine is BER at least you can drag it out and charge for doing that, otherwise their problem only gets worse I guess? 8)

martin the pump is not running as if you held the drain pipe down and the water flowed out then when it empys sump brings in the water valve is there any thing else other than the drain pipe siphoning would cause that thanks for your help fasetester 😕
