Flood protection activated – base tray is full of water. Unplug it, pull it out and tip it to one side to drain. If the problem repeats in a short period of time, you have a leak to find.

Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get a rubber door seal for this dishwasher?
Also, when the dishwasher gets to the end of its program it makes a loud whirring/rattle noise that sounds like a bearing has gone. Is this the drain pump or is there some kind of fan that kicks in at the end that’s gone?
Many thanks…

Ive had this dishwasher for a few years and its finally given up I think. keeps tripping the electrics need to test this to confirm though. Can’t be bothered fixing overcoming problems on it again.
yes all the wheels and fittings inside did break within a few weeks
yes it does leak from bottom of door
yes it does fail if you use anything other than finish classic tablets
yes the fan in the door does rattle at the end of the cycle
yes the rubber seal does come loose and drop off (i stuck it back with special clue several times)
yes it is a very poor quality washerBut with careful use it has lasted me for a few years.
So I’m looking for a new machine what to go for ???
Fully integrated required didn’t want to spend more than £400 but will go up if needed.
Was looking at Bosch but there seem to be a lot of questions on the forums about Bosch units are they troublesome ?

Hi
Bosch / Neff are still among the leaders out there when it comes to quality appliances at a sensible price. Their reliability is much better than most.
Neff give better value for money IMO with the same two year warranty.

Well its not the end for my kenwood just yet. I don’t think it was responsible for tripping my electrics it seems to be willing to fight another day, best start saving for a new one though its days are numbered.
Now I just need to find what did trip me electric twice 😕

Hello, I’ve got a problem with a Kenwood KDW12SS dishwasher. Have read through the forums but can’t find any answers….
1. It flooded the floor through a leak on the bottom door seal.
2. It then wouldn’t restart.
3. If I powered it up whilst holding the Program button then I get all lights on, flashing & beeping.
4. The forum suggests that this is flooding, so I tipped it on it’s side, lots of water on the floor.
5. Still won’t restart, again powering up with Program pressed all lights come on but stay fixed (no flashing, no beeping)So any ideas ? Thanks in advance for any help.
PS within the first 3 months I had to replace the wheels three times on the top basket. Top marks to Kenwood for durabilty testing !!
