    I am asking for help with diagnostic codes please, and if possible a tech manual that covers this model, CUN 3113
    On this type of control panel the red led alarm(6) is flashing in sync with green led (4) flashing at 5degC

    Update on this error. With the 5 flashing, although this page is unclear about ‘5’, I thought it looked like the freezer air sensor

    I had an engineer visit, and he called Liebherr tech team who recommended the thermistor part which arrived. I carefully fitted it according to the instructions, using the orange dot connectors to bring together the original and new cables in the little white cable box. When I switched the unit back on, the error code lights are still flashing.
    Liebherr customer service suggested I do a 7 hour reset (one hour off, six hours to ‘settle.’ )
    UK Whitegoods told me that if the repair was good, the fault would disappear immediately.
    Advice welcome.

    Faults with sensors on this unit involve the superfrost light flashing in sequence with the green temperature indicator blocks, There are four sensors on this unit, You have not mentioned the superfrost flashing, so I suspect you did not or have a sensor failure.

    Thank you Tony.
    The error lights went off after several hours of ‘settling’ as recommended by Libeherr, everything seems ok now so am hoping it was the needed fix. The model I have flashed the alarm light in sync with the green temperature indicator block 5 (maybe other models’ codes are slightly different?)

    The right hand green block, flashing with the red alarm, is high temperature in the freezer, as stated if a sensor fails the superfrost flahes in sequence with a set amount of green blocks on the left hand side, the differing green blocks point to the individual sensor at fault.

    Tony, thank you for coming back about this issue. I understand what you say, which is what is written on the page i found too. Since changing the sensor fixed the problem, I wonder if the unit is an older model that had different fault codes perhaps.

    The fault codes are nearly all the same for that control board, but with the units index number and service number from the rating plate, I can advise you further, as there are multi variations on that model number, bit like asking for a part for a Ford Fiesta.

    Remove the freezer drawers and check if you have an ice build up on the rear wall, it could be why you are getting the high temperature alarm, as excess ice and frosting on the coil behind the rear cover will stop the fan circulating the air.

    Thank you Tony, it’s not icy, but i can see the fan isn’t spinning. so possibly that?

    Fan only works if the freezer coil is at temperature ( -25c ) at the evaporator sensor and the door is closed.

    Thank you for your support Tony, you have been great. I had a second engineer here today who was about to replace the fan in the freezer until he spotted that there was no ice on the back wall where there should be a thin amount of ice and said the condenser was failing and it’s beyond repair. I’ve ended up out of pocket £200 to discover this, after the wrong diagnosis by the first engineer. I am wondering whether to buy a cheap fridge freezer now, so I don’t go through this again.

    Does he mean the compressor ? did he do a gas pressure test to confirm the pumping efficiency of the compressor by tapping into the gas system ? or just guess that was the issue, and was he talking about the ice on the back wall of the FRIDGE, as these units will put all their energy to the freezer if it is not at temperature sacrificing the fridge, I would if I was you, unscrew the back panel in the freezer and just check there is no excess ice on the freezer coil, just for peace of mind before you scrap it.

    Tony, yes, sorry it was the compressor that he said had bust. He did not do a gas pressure test. He was talking about ice at the back of the fridge. I unscrewed the back panel in the freezer and took this photo. There’s a bit of ice, but I don’t know what counts as ‘excess’.
