as far as i can see Martin has not been active since 2015 so not sure if he will reply
dont know why your repair man will not fix the board as its not a bad job to do, have done lots
you need to check the shock absorbers as the most common failure of these board is violent drum movements
if you get stuck i may be able to help but with christmas this close and parts delivery taking time it may not get done till new year
