Changed many boards for this reason.. They just fail and have to be swapped-out

With boards costing 130 quid I’d say sticking a new relay in is worth a punt.

If it does work , advise the customer not to leave the dishwasher switched on when not in use. Its supposedly the main reason for the mains relay going on the module.

The control module (00498022) comes out at just £74.84. Even with the exchange rate in Euros comes no where near the rip off price you quoted.

Just out of curiosity, did you see if there was any readings across the coil of the relay? ie was it being energised?

Could imply that the relay driver circuit has a busted transistor or something similar.

Is there any chance you could post a pic of the pcb? If there is a chip on the board with “tny” or “lnk” printed on it, it might be faulty.
