ParticipantHi all,
A quick heads up on new products;
We have agreed deals on another ISE washing machine, an ISE dishwasher and a tumble dryer to supplement the current machine.
The new products are made in Sweden by a company called ASKO and while we are still negociating on insurrance and distribution costs we are confident to have the first machines in the country at the start of July.
I am told by Ken & Sean that the machines have a built quality equivelent to or better than Mielle and we will have samples at Sibson for you to form your own opinion.
While I can not give exact price details at this stage we hope to be retailing the washing machine with a 3 yr parts and labour guarantee in a semi commercial setting and 10 yrs for domestic. The dishwasher and tumble dryer will also carry 10 yr guarentee.
These machines are designed to supplement not replace the current product and we are open to suggestions for names we thought ‘ISE Pro’ or ISE 10, what do you think, about the name and the products. ❓ ❓ ❓

Nice ones,
Super Duty / Heavy duty could work,
DryISE would make a great strap line for the literature,
I am after a name which differentiates the two ranges, I am working towards washer, dish and dryer with 10 yrs cover and washer dryer, dish dryer with 5 yrs cover.
Looks like we are there at the 10 year end but we can not find any decent mid range dishwashers or dryers that you would recommend.
Keep the suggestions coming, if you like the idea of the Askos wait until you see the products.

I’m with John on this, I think the name “pro” would stand to symbolise ‘top of the range’ products simply by the universally accepted definition of the word. 😉
Later edit : Or maybe….”pro series“?????

ParticipantHi Guys,
My search for ISE tumble dryers and dishwashers to complement the existing washing machine which from July will become ISE 5 and the new stock will be branded as such (don’t panic it’s the same machine with an amended logo) has widdened.
I have been talking to factories who do not sell their own brands they specialise in producing for other people including some high profile names.
I have reach the stage where I am after the spec for a dishwasher and dryer that we can ideally sell to the customers at less than £400.
Tell we what you want.
This is highly confidential so keep it within the sellers only forum, Ken will collate your thoughts.
This will give me spec and I’ll do my best to strike a deal with one of the factories.
I am off on holiday for a week starting with a trip to wembley on monday (come on you rams) when I get back I start a UK tour to see all of you prior to the start of July.
Cheers
John

If it is going to be a condensor dryer then water container at bottom, so no pumps and extra pipework. Vented would be better. Belt tensioned by jockey pulleys an absolute must .

I have the drier sat in the office and I’ve not had the chance to have the back off it yet Jim but I can tell you this so far…
The water container is at the top.
To “plumb” it in for draining a one-armed idiot could do it, so Gegsy is good to go! 😆
The condenser chamber an idiot could remove for cleaning.
Fluff filter in the door also pretty much idiot proof.
The basic stacking kit to fit on top if the washer is included!
Really, a total muppet could use the machine and not go wrong it is just so, so simple to use and why I love it.

Jockey pulleys.? I seem to have misunderstood John’s post, it appeared to suggest he was asking for input for dryer/dishwasher specs to take to prospective manufacturers. 😕

ParticipantHi all,
Just to confirm I am talking about building a spec for ISE 5 to complement the existing Washing machine. The ISE 10 dryer is an Asko and we have an opption on a Asko made dishwasher it’s the mid range stuff that is proving tough to source.
