I will try new stats and a capacitor and see what happens.Where is the capacitor situated and is it easy access?

Sorry to bother all you guys again.I had to wait ages for the capacitor and thermoststs again due to the postal strike. To cut a long story short this time i still have no heat.Could the new thermostats be faulty? Im starting to think it is time for a new dryer.

Or possibly time to call for the cavalry, there is no mention in any of your posts of the use of any electrical test equipment. If you do not have access to a decent multimeter or megger and know how to use them then it may be time to ‘get someone in’ 😉

Worth noting that this machine has a reversing timer in the base that often causes a ‘no heat’ problem if it fails.

As it has a jockey pulley drive system it is a much better machine than most new dryers on the market unless you go way up the scale.
