Exactly Gegsy.
There’s no point in banning or rising to these people, I don’t even get emotional about it. I just get even and tear down the arguments using logic and information.
After years on various mailing lists as a moderator/owner and serving my time on the net in newsgroups I am well prepared for these types of idiots.
He’s proved himself a fool and made his profession look as if it is filled with know-it-all snobs that feel that the people on the ground having to deal with the bits that they get wrong in design are totally beneath them. We are apparently not worthy of being called engineers simply as we don’t have some letters after our names.
I’m perfectly relaxed and totally comfortable with that in the public forums as, if anything, we look better as a trade because of how it all went. And, in the end, we’re the ones helping people in real life, not prats like that with nothing to say about us or our industry that isn’t insulting, the public can easily see that.

Keymaster😀
Oh I was just getting warmed up, we had miles to go there to prove him even more a fool as he walked into every trap laid for him. I actually think he saw some of it coming and decided to bugger off before it was made still worse for him.
Not only that I could have brought it round to being bang on topic as well as well as making we scummy whitegoods engineers look like heroes.
It’s all just spin. 😉
