It seems you have got it wrong. I dont have a few years in the trade. I have a few years for indesit yes but didnt just work for them. It also seems that there are quite a few people using this site who tend to agree with me judging by the private messages I have recieved. Most stating the same thing about moderators. I have entered replies to quite a few technical quieries on here and have had moderators sticking in their opinions where it is not needed. Mainly in the form of bitchy slagging off comments. The aim i thought of this site was to help others either in the trade or members of the public not to assert your own judgements or inconsistancies in replies. ie on giving a reply being told by a moderator that you cant give that information out. maybe its professional jealousy on your part that makes you the way you are. IADOM IT ALL DEPENDS ON ME. How apt
For the record I have 27 years experience in engineering be it in the RAF or as an engineer working on white goods.
………………………………………………………Until my access to the Merloni FSE forum was curtailed due to my mole, a recently retired Hotpoint engineer having his access temporarily removed due to his constant support for industrial action I have not seen anything from there. Safe to say, when I did, indespoint was one of the more outspoken posters who seemed to get up the nose of one or two others. In fact the last time I was allowed access, many months ago, there were only a handful of regular posters from a field force supposed to be in the high hundreds or more. :rolls:
I don’t think I will reply to this PM just yet, I will keep my powder dry for the moment.

So there’s a conspiracy by the mods against Indesit. Shock, horror, surprise… NOT!
However that’s not really the point, the point is that I often get the old “based on the PM’s I get” thing when there’s no substance to the claim ever made, evidence to support the opinion of the person making that claim or even any real public opinion. My answer is pretty much always the same…
Put up, or shut up.
If people have an opinion we have this amazing thing known as a “forum” to voice that opinion. If they don’t then tough titty, they lose the ability to offer an opinion if they choose to gag themselves.
Just IMO of course.

Which bit of “I hate to tell you this…….” is causing the problem? He’s ballsed it up and I’ve told him gently. I even suggested he might like to check his wiring diagram……… Not anything else I can do really, is there? Of course he might not actually have one, and I’m sure none of us have either……

There’s something in the bank if it all kicks off again.Apart from that, it’s been a great day. This morning found the van with a bloody great burnt patch on the top of the r/o/s tyre where some little toe-rag tried to set a fire. Fuel cap all smashed up as well, but fortunately still intact. Pub car park – landlord very upset as they had a car damaged as well. And it wasn’t the greatest days work I’ve ever had to top it all off.

And this mornings (yesterdays) events found the drivers door screwdrivered and the window wound down. Don’t get it – haven’t upset anybody locally for yonks…….. Interesting day driving around on a binbag due to soggy seat. Nothing in the van has been touched. Little b’stards – I’ll have ’em eventually.
