Why they have to tittle tattle to another mod rather than PM me is beyond me 😕 :rolls:the fact that many female members could read them and possibly take offence.

He was a bit miffed that a joke he posted in the Off Topic forums was removed a while ago which was far less offensive or risqué than several recent posts and on that point I had to concur.

Cheers for that Jim, I appreciate where he is coming from. Like I said I have removed my two risque jokes as they were a tad naughty on reflection 8)

The problem is that if you place hard rules in play then you have to live by them. Far better to say that we like to keep it clean and leave it at that as that covers a multitude of sins.

Agree with Ken there. A gentle nudge if things start to creep over the bounds of reasonable content. I know that Martin has often voiced his concern. It should not be to difficult for our merry band to police this thread with common sense.

So very often in fact. So much so that over the years I have deleted loads of stuff from there to try and retain some form of order as this after all is a whitegoods site and not a joke factory. 😈

I’ve obviously been misundedrstanding this for some years…… I had thought the Off Topic was where you could tell the jokes and all the rest of the smutty stuff, thus keeping the rest of the sacred forums sane, sensible and full of Whitegoods goodness.
Which is why I dumped MacMinis offering into Off Topic from General Trade.
