I think he’s finally getting it or has got it all.
I’m thinking on publishing an article I wrote almost two years ago that one of the nationals wanted run after that debacle. It was, at the time, deemed to risky to publish as it kinda points the finger a little at some of the sharp practices in this industry.

There would be, no doubt, some large retailers and manufacturers upset even now about it. So I think I’ll publish it anyway.

This part of T_I_M’s post really p***d me off, I so wanted to tell him what I really thought of him after this comment, made after Ken had told him the reasons why we do the install on ISE’s.
Understood. And when the engineer has gone I will set the machine up better myself . Joking aside, something I’ve slowly come to undersand (accept?) over my 51 years is no one is (or can afford to commercially) pay as much attention to detail as a competent person can his/her self. My Dad taught me a good saying .. “Whatever you do do do do well” and I try to live by that no matter if I am putting the bins out for me or fixing someones car or PC. Any lowering of my standards is normally down to the owner saying ‘that’s fine’ or ‘don’t bother with that’ and even then I may well follow it through to my own satisfaction if I feel it is appropriate (like it might save me having to do it again in the near future).

I’ve read it through and I doubt they will to be honest? Some of the facts stated are somewhat arguable or at the very least debatable?:)
It would be interesting if a thread were to be raised in General Trade with a link to that article inviting debate on it’s content though 😉

There’s really not a lot that’s in debate, it’s all gleaned from statistics that are published by third parties, not me, with a little bit of analysis chucked in. I assume that your accusation of being “debatable or arguable” is grounded in fact?
