Oh let them have their little boiler chat I say, I don’t see ay harm in it really so long as it doesn’t get out of hand.
Problem is that we’ve sorta set ourselves up for it as it is a very friendly and knowledgeable forum so people that get help are liable to ask for help with anything they think we can help with. I don’t see a problem with that sort of reputation and, we have gotten something of a reputation for being helpful on the net. 😉
Good thing though IMO, drives a lot of stuff we want.

Mind you, Tuesday was a strange day……….
10am – Pickles Funeral Services in Otley. Refused point blank – was assured that “Nothing would be on display”…….. Julia booked it….. Anyway, went and fitted new cold valve to a Hoover a/w – bunch of bl@@dy comedians – talk about black humour :rolls: .
2.30pm – go to the Heads, our old next door neighbours. Jill says “Ed died on Monday…” Oops. Fix the Bosch for a nominal figure. As I’m leaving, Pickles’ van is in next door and they’re wheeling out a trolley……… “Hi Chris!” shouts my newfound friends from Pickles. Jill looked somewhat startled.
4.30pm – The Schmidts on Knott Lane in Rawdon. Sort out electronics problem on horrible W133S. Get back in van, can’t get out of drive….. It’s the back exit to Rawdon Crematorium – wait for (empty) cortege to go past. Pickles hearse, of course – they’re all in their blacks and waving at me.
Very glad it’s Wednesday.

You remember my thing about signs, portents and IIRC omens?
I cant recall if I added the omens thing as omens have been totally spoiled since those bloody movies with priests in it. 😆
