I have rejected a message from Mike Day as it was frankly just the usual BS reply that didn’t actually give any form of answer.
I think that the tactic is just to bump the bits that they don’t want seen to the back, basically causing an overload of information so people switch off. I’m trying to keep it on point and on topic.

Personally, I think we are all being played by the powers that be within JTM/0800 Repair.
I have to say, the photo was outrageous and I am glad it was posted on here so those in the trade can see the quality of SOME of their guys but I think it was a little too much to then repost it on 0800’s sites and as a result some unfounded venimous backlash is being made.
I am not for one second condoning the posts by the two 0800 idiots but I can understand why their backs got up.
I was speaking with PF at JTM Contracts about it the other day and for some strange reason he sees it as publicity.
What do you guys think will happen it we just ignore the thread for a while. It seems to me that if we dont bite at the carrot, they might just get bored and go away.

I have been largely ignoring it believe it or not, only responding where provoked and where salient points require to be made.
I’m also now ignoring email from our friend Mr Day. He is really not a very pleasant person IMO and a very poor choice to represent 0800 in any way given how behaviour.
I am more than a little irked at the pops they’ve had at me personally though as there has been largely no call for it.

If we approve it are we seen to be giving in and lowering our own standards. If on the other hand we dissaprove his latest effort will he continue by pm or emails anyway?

No call for it whatsoever IMO and its where I think they are engaged in a goading exercise.
If your read through Mike Days posts, he’s had many jobs and not been able to hold any of them down, he started off this franchise business with a couple of guys and then found the work wasnt there and had to get rid of them both, advertised for some more when the work picked up but could get anyone, has been there, seen it, done it got and wore out the t shirt. Personally I wish he would eff off back there but this has become his little mission in life now.
He is an attention seeker, the more we pander to it, the more he enjoys it. I just wonder if we are feeding his habit here, but I am willing to go with the flow. If we are to give him space, should we not use the forum rules strictly. Personal abuse gets banned, posting from other accounts gets banned etc. (Did he admit to posting Clive Atkins post on his account, or was I misreading it?) etc.

I agree Carl in large part but I also can’t help but get the feeling that much of this is personal and directed at me for some reason. Now, that’d be okay but, Mike Day I’ve never met, don’t have a clue who he is and no clue how much information he is privy to about 0800.
Add to that the schizophrenic posting, seemingly multiple uses of the same IP address range (including me catching A.N. Other 0800 staff member using the same range as well as Jim’s findings) the weird way some things are put and it all adds up to support only a few possible conclusions. That there are multiple users using these accounts or, stuff is being written for MD to post and he’s just copying and pasting.
I also find it incomprehensible that 0800 management would allow him to continue to post the cr4p he has/does without being reigned in a bit. Therefore I have to conclude that this is down with their blessing.
Any way you slice it, it’s not pretty.
But I do agree and I don’t intend to let this idiot fan the flames any more and I hope that others hold back and try to keep the discussion on track.

I think I might have PM’d you previously Ken on whom is directing MD on this.
I beleive your 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} right in a significant chunk of it being copied and pasted from a Director at JTM/0800 whom we both know.
I am currently rejecting all Mike Days posts unless they are of some relevance to the subject matter. If they contain one word I dont like irrespective of the relevance, I am rejecting it and will continue to do so until my fellow mods ask me to cease.
I am sick of him and his baiting.
